Li Wang is an assistant professor at National Laboratory for Parallel and Distributed Processing, NUDT. He received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from NUDT in 2009. His research interests are operating system, especially file system and networking, as well as compiler optimizations. He started to work on Linux kernel in 2003, his master dissertation 'The design and implementation of TCP Handoff on Linux' was awarded the Hunan Province Distinguished Master Dissertation Award in 2007. He is a member of Linux Virtual Server (www.linux-vs.org) project. In Ottawa Linux Symposium 2012, he gave a presentation titled ‘Optimizing eCryptfs for better performance and security’. Currently, he is working on Ceph distributed file system development as well as Linux page cache optimization.
