High availability has become crucial to the success of companies whose products or services run on networks. OpenSAF is an open source community with projects focused on HA middleware using the LGPL v2.1. It is a leading solution in the commercial-off-the-shelf HA middleware industry with adoption by a growing number of telecom, aerospace and defense companies. OpenSAF is closely aligned with Linux, and leverages related projects, such as TIPC, DRDB and OCF resource agents. It includes the most comprehensive implementation of the Service Availability Forum (SA Forum) services.
